Sitagliptinphosphate (Januvia, code MK-0431), produced by Merck, was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in October 2006 for the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
Sitapliptin phosphate is ideal for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. As a new antidiabetic drug, sitapliptin phosphate is glucose-dependent and has moderate hypoglycemic effect.
