        Penicillin potassium also known as Bian penicillin, Bian penicillin G potassium salt, this product is white crystalline powder, odorless or micro-specific odor, hygroscopicity. Soluble in water, saline, glucose solution. Aqueous solution is easy to fail when placed at room temperature, and quickly fails when encountered with acid, alkali, oxidant, etc. Penicillin has a good antibacterial effect on streptococcus, such as hemolytic streptococcus, Streptococcus pneumoniae and staphylococcus which does not produce penicillin enzyme. It has a moderate antibacterial effect on Enterococcus. Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, Corynebacterium diphtheria, Bacillus anthracis, Actinomycetes bovis, Streptobacillus candida, Listeria, Leptospira and Treponema pallidum are sensitive to this product. This product also has certain antibacterial activity against Haemophilus influenzae and Borutella pertussis, other Gram-negative aerobic or facultative anaerobic bacteria have poor sensitivity to this product. The product has good antibacterial effect on Clostridium, anaerobic bacteria of Streptococcus digestii and Bacteroidoides producing melanin, but poor antibacterial effect on Bacteroidoides fragility. Penicillin plays a bactericidal role by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.
